The Water, Growth and Stability Initiative (WGSI) is a framework for the creation a knowledge-based platform, a dynamic network of water experts, and an e-learning tool for capacity building and the dissemination of lessons learned. In registering for an event, workshop, conference, forum or activity hosted by the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC), delegates and participants agree to the following terms and conditions:

At the time of registration, the REC provided the most recent information available and the participant accepts that the content and/or delivery of an event may change due to circumstances beyond the control of the REC. The REC does not accept any responsibility for any errors, omissions or changes to the programme or content of events. The REC reserves the right to make changes as it deems necessary without penalty, and in such situations no refunds, part refunds or alternative offers shall be made.

Registration

If a person is registering on behalf of a participant(s), it is the responsibility of that person to notify the participant of the terms and conditions of registering, to which they will agree on behalf of the participant.

Privacy

Your contact details will be used to compile a list of participants that will be used by the REC event organisers; third-party event organisers; the provider of the venue and accommodation for the purposes of room bookings (if applicable); sponsors; and parties associated with the event. If you are a speaker at the event, your presentation documents may be uploaded to the REC website(s) or provided to delegates after the event.

Force majeure

Neither party shall be liable for damage and neither party shall have the right to terminate this agreement due to any delay or default in performance if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, government restrictions (including the denial or cancellation of any export or other necessary licence), war, insurrection and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.
