Imola Koszta is an expert in the field of water management at the Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC). As a member of the WATER POrT team she is involved mainly in cooperation and dialogue activities and provides support to actions related to integrated water resources management and climate change adaptation.

She earned an MSc in environmental engineering from the University of Pannonia, Hungary. In recent years she has worked to promote the river basin management approach and to encourage the design and improvement of mechanisms to mitigate the effects of climate change on water. She has been involved in public participation and involvement activities in the field of water management, as well as in the development of various educational materials, such as the WATER CoRe e-learning platform and video e-learning related to water monitoring.

As well as working to save and protect water resources, she is a keen photographer.
