REC facilitates e-equipment grant to four municipalities

Mar 25, 2016
E-equipment is being donated to four Jordanian municipalities involved in the WaSe project component (Al-Salt, Al Karak, Jerash and Ajloun). The REC is providing the grant for the equipment, while the regional project partner, IUCN ROWA, will handle its purchase and delivery.

Each municipality will be provided with two new laptop computers and two new devices with fax, print and copy functions. It is expected that the local water security action planning teams, the local coordinator and the local focal point will make use of the equipment to considerably increase their capacities and performance capabilities for successful project implementation. A new laptop and a new multifunctional device are also being provided to the national coordinator.
