Stakeholder analysis workshop in Tunisia

Jan 14, 2016
The first stakeholder analysis workshop within the WaSe component of the WATER SUM project was held on January 12, 2016, in Hammamet, Tunisia. The workshop was moderated by Danko Aleksic (REC) and Sameeh Al Nuimat (IUCN ROWA) and resulted in the completion of REC "green sheet" stakeholder tables for both national and local level, representing an important step in project implementation.

The event was organised by the REC and the IUCN's Regional Office for West Asia (IUCN ROWA) and brought together over 40 national-level representatives as well as participants from four municipality delegations (Matmata, Nefza, Sidi Ali Ben Aoun and Bir Mchargha) involved in the project. In a very vibrant and dynamic atmosphere the participants discussed how national and local stakeholders are affected by water security action planning.
