Training on MIKE FLOOD Software in Hammamet, Tunisia

A two-days training on the DHI software MIKE FLOOD was imparted between 31st Jan-1st Feb 2018 in Tunisia. The training falls within the WATER POrT project component's string of capacity building for Climate change adaptation.
MIKE FLOOD is a software specialized in flooding hydraulics combining the DHI software’s MIKE 11 (for 1D Hydraulics in the river channelandRainfall – Runoff calculations) and MIKE 21 (for 2D Hydraulics over the floodplains).The training had a practical character and wzsacontinuation of the training “Training on flood risk management, flood hazard and flood risk maps” which was held on 19-20th October 2016. This course wasaimedfor the professionals involved in flood management, flood risk assessment andotherflood related studies and will be a decisive impulse to the Flood Forecast Early Warning System for the Medjerda Basin.
