The training took place between 27-29 November 2017 in Hammamet, Tunisia and falls within the WATER POrT project aimed at improving skills and capacities of respective national authorities for applying IWRM approach .

The training was addressing the technicians from Tunisia for analyzing the main characteristics of the hydrometeorological and water quality time series as well as the methodologies for making correlations between different time series.

The overall objective was filling the data gaps existing in the time series. Main topics covered under the 3-day capacity building event are:

  • gap analysis;
  • historical data series extension;
  • missing data estimation and recovery; and
  • trend analysis
